Skaters

Skaters come in all shapes and sizes, styles, and hair type. The one thing they all have in common is they actually skate. Some skaters are punks, some skaters are rockers, other skaters are tatted up, pierced up, emo dudes.

During the 60's, surfers started riding skateboards when they weren't in the water and the first styles associated with skaters was with the surfers. As the years progressed, skaters started building a style of their own and became linked to the rebellious punk culture and often with crimminal behavior in the minds of the mainstream.

Skaters have been misunderstood throughout the years and the current image of a skater is more diverse and less boxed in than in previous decades. Skating has become a passtime for many, but the style associated with the skaters still has a unique look that can often overlap with other alt types.

In the current times, when you identify at a skater, you can expect to see hot, sexy alt skaters with tight pants or baggy shorts, tight fitting or baggy shirts, funky shoes, longer hair, or shaved hair, perhaps peircings or tats, and a pimped out skateboard. The skaters are hard to define, but when you see a skater, you know a skater (with or without the skateboard).

Skaters exude their sexiness through their moves, style, and attitude. This channel gives them their own voice whether they are walking, eating, talking, kissing, just plain existing, or doing what they do best - skating.
